    Top Tips!

    Did you know?
Your next statement (and invoice) will contain any lateproofreading fines applied to your account?
As mentioned in previous e-newsletters, PHOENIX will automatically apply a later proofreading fine to your account if you proofreading and reject Self-service ads later than 48 business hours. These fines are marked clearly on both your quarterly statement and invoice

    PHOENIX Newsletter
    International Classified Media Association
    Nr. 20 - October 2006

    Dear Karina,

Hello and welcome to this October edition of the PHOENIX e-newsletter.
ICMA is working hard on the system revisions list and preparations for the PHOENIX workshop at the Munich General Meeting are well under way. If you are attending the General Meeting and have not yet registered for the workshop please do so soon so I can send you the advance questions you will need to work on before you attend.

This month has also seen a increase in the number of publishers who have launched their Self-service system meaning we are now that bit closer to launching the Network Online functionality of the system! Again, thanks to everyone for helping with this and let's keep those activations coming!

Hope to see you in Munich!

    Kind regards,

    Craig Wilkinson
    ICMA Operations Manager

    PHOENIX system change requests

The deadline for this quarter's PHOENIX system revisions is approaching and ICMA would still like to hear what your ideas / requests are. If you have a suggestion, be sure to let us know and it will be considered against the following criteria:
  • How beneficial it is to the whole network?
  • Is it system critical?
  • How much it will cost to produce?
We are not asking for a detailed report on your idea, but just a simple, clear description of what your idea is and how it can make life easier for us all!

  • Reminders
    Ratecards

When was the last time you checked your PHOENIX ratecard? Are you sure that you are charging prices that cover your costs?
Make sure you have added prices to the packages that are shown or the packages will not be available to you (or your self-service customers)

    Packages

It has been almost 12 months since the launch of PHOENIX and many papers have not changed their packages since that time. You could look at designing newly priced & newly constructed destination groups so you can continue to offer your customers a varied and competitive service. Ideally, you should be doing this EVERY month!
