Educated at the Norwegian Naval Academy 1988-1992, business and administration. Served in the Norwegian Navy until 1997 with postings on Norwegian navy ships, NATO commands in Norway, the United Kingdom and in NATO operations in Croatia & Bosnia.

Joined Schibsted in 1997 as controller in the IT section of Norway’s biggest newspaper. In 1999 one of 4 Schibsted employees tasked with setting up FINN.no (online marketplace) Stayed in FINN.no for 10 years as CFO/COO.

COO for all of Schibsted’s operations in Norway (FINN.no, 4 regional leading newspapers and a country wide printing plant company).

Joined Schibsted Classified Media as Senior Vice President/Asset owner in 2012 Schibsted Classified Media was directly responsible for marketplace operations in 20 countries, most of them developed into market leadership. Different areas of responsibility, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, all operations in Asia (5 countries) and Germany. CEO of Schibsted Spain (Infojobs, Coches/Motos.net, Fotocasa and Segundamano) and successfully executed the acquisition of Milanuncios and Hablitaclia. Schibsted Classified Media later became Adevinta after the merger with Ebay Classifieds.

Lead a 18 months project to improve Talabat’s customer experience (Market leader for food delivery in MENA and owned by Delivery Hero). Worked as VP Product Monetization and consumer experience for Property Finder for 2 years (2023-2025).

Working as independent consultant advising Classifieds/Marketplaces on Value based Growth Strategies and fractional for PropTexx.com and PropPilot.ai, supporting their growth and scaling.
